ETHICS AND CODE OF CONDUCT
Here at w3dL, we take our work seriously and as we're a research organisation registered with the Information Commission, we're proud to uphold the main principles of UK and EU data protection law. We believe in the importance of informed consent, and are supporters of the MRS's "Fair Data" initiative.
As members of the MRS, we carry out our work in line with the MRS Code of Conduct, but more importantly than that, wherever possible, we try to treat the respondents/participants we collect data from with respect. If we bore respondents to death with dull, repetitive surveys, then chances are that they won't take part in another study and our whole industry suffers.
We also take data weighting seriously too. If you're looking for an organisation to take 150 interviews and try to weight them to a nationally representative profile, then you're probably at the wrong website, for the wrong company. Solid, robust data that's collected reasonably is what good market research should all be about.
